Kelley received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island with a minor in Mathematics. She is currently pursuing her Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Boston University with hopes of becoming a Registered Dietician in the near future.
In high school, Kelley excelled in math and received a 5 on her AP Calculus Exam. She was part of a volunteer math tutor program called “math ninjas” in which she tutored her fellow high school students in areas such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus. Throughout her undergraduate studies, she tutored peers in coursework such as calculus I and II, multivariable calculus, physics, chemistry, biology, organic chemistry, statistics, and probability. She has previously worked as an in-home tutor before joining the Chyten team.
Outside of education and tutoring, Kelley is an avid runner. She was a member of the University of Rhode Island’s Division I Track & Field Team and Cross Country Team. She is currently a member of the Boston Athletic Association’s Running Club in which she has completed many road races ranging in distances from a 5K to a marathon. She enjoys all aspects of fitness and outdoor activiites including yoga, hiking, and traveling. Kelley has a passion for health and cooking and shares her knowledge through her food blog.
